... Control ...

Reality Collapsing

Fold upon fold, layer upon layer...
Invisible threads work the loom that weaves the Cloak of Personality we wear and encircles our wrists and ankles like a marionette puppet doll dancing to a dark, sombre lullaby ....

The Song is a Symphony

Each note sourced from everything we ever touch, ever see, ever do, every lesson learnt ...

The things that shape us.

The Chorus Swells

The dance becomes more intricate and the notes crash around us like a deafening cacophony. The poignant strains and esoteric choir become a harsh discordant wail ...

White noise and dark dirges

The Cloak Grows Heavy with Life Experiences.

The dance steps becomes more intricate and complex.
The music becomes a roar and we realise ....

Nothing.

This is What We Crave

Our waking moments become filled with visions of running though fields of imaginary flowers, wind in our hair and our arms and legs all akimbo, naked to the elements and the open to the unique sensations previously denied to us ...

Nothing to sabotage our choices.

The Cloak

Stiff, rigid and confining lies at our feet,

We feel the kiss of the breeze on our virgin soft skin, aspects of ourselves so long 'protected' from the elements ...

 Discarded.

The Breeze

The fresh scent of Unrealised Opportunities.
Exotic, alluring, heady aromas which titilate and excite our senses.

A featherlight kiss on our exposed psyche.
We revel in the Emancipation as sensations not known envelope us and the wind moves in closer,
enveloping us as it licks at us and whispers sweet seduction to our ears....

... Freedom ...

The Circle of Life

What seems like a lifetime ago now I subscribed to an unpopular theory that our lives are not linear or finite. It made much more sense to me that our lives are more than aimless wanderings without greater purpose and good and that we are much more than highly evolved micro-organisms.

That sense of Deja Vu...
The moment that past choices come to light and seem to make perfect sense, despite the fact that at the time they seemed inane and completely out of left field... possibly even cruel.
That 'Aha' moment when the pieces seem to perfectly align and fall into place - and the pathway, the journey, previously shrouded in hardship and misgivings becomes clear and accessible... achievable even.

It's an intricately weaved pattern, the Things that Shape us. A labyrinth of life choices, both good and bad, with little or no indicators that tell you if the journey that you make is the 'Best' one, all cleverly compiled into 'Us'. Even what appear to be our desired 'outcomes' are entirely subjective. Not many of us can read our own futures or anyone elses for that matter, and the best made contingency plans in the world could hardly foresee our 'external factors' yet to come. If our LifePaths are indications of anything, the available options can be things that you never see coming, things so seemingly insignificant or totally bizarre and  nothing can stop their effects. They ripple through our Walk of Life, subtly altering our goals, the People we are yet to become.
These are the Things that Shape us.

Sometimes, what seems like a soul shattering trauma could, in fact, be your Definitive Life Altering Event.

Love....

The word LOVE is a generic term.. It's taken on so many different dimensions with the saturation that it has suffered from that the TRUE definition is no longer clear.

We LOVE our partners.
We LOVE our family.
We LOVE our children.
We LOVE icecream.
We LOVE our life.

I reckon that makes fairly clear what I am referring to.

I think that LOVE.. the emotional state itself that we are referring to is actually something similar to a COMPOUND in science..
It's a final product produced by combining a multitude of elements.. not an element in itself....

I guess what I mean is "It's a Rich Tapestry"

LOVE is the socially applicable label for the feeling.
But the recipe can be composed of MANY MANY different emotions...

Trust, Respect, Grattitude, Adoration, Honesty, Enrichment, Growth, Comfort, Acceptance, etc....

So in summary...
It's totally OK to fall in love with your playmate and vice versa...

Because the LOVE label that is attached to the people in our REAL world.
Has a slightly different makeup to the LOVE that we experience in our SEX world..

We are expected to LOVE our children equally, regardless of the number we have, which means that there MUST be the facitily for people to be able to draw upon a limitless source, regardless of contributing factors, and with almost complete disregard for ANYTHING except that requirement. It's unconditional and unbiased when we apply it to our family and children...

I am a believer that there is only one SOURCE or that feeling or emotion... our Heart, our Soul, our Core, our Being... whichever label you would like to apply to it...
So I have to accept that if that is the protocol for ONE of the outlets of this 'Energy'.
It's apparently the RAW source, and must have some type of FILTER applied to it which reflects the final manifestation, because we can have LOVE for our work, our life, our colleagues, etc etc etc..

It's not a case of do we fall in love with our ladies or our boyz...
It's ... what are the FILTERS that apply when we deal with them..

It's an Epiphany that came to me last night when reflecting on my world..
Sorry to bore you, but I figured it might be worth sharing, just in case it resonated with anyone else.

For My Inner Circle ...

“A soulmate is someone who has locks that fit our keys, and keys to fit our locks. When we feel safe enough to open the locks, our truest selves step out and we can be completely and honestly who we are; we can be loved for who we are and not for who we’re pretending to be. Each unveils the best part of the other. No matter what else goes wrong around us, with that one person we’re safe in our own paradise. Our soulmate is someone who shares our deepest longings, our sense of direction. When we’re two balloons, and together our direction is up, chances are we’ve found the right person. Our soulmate is the one who makes life come to life. ”

― Richard Bach

Love is when you can live without worries and be with someone you can trust and forgive.

Music ... Food for the Soul

You know what I'm thinking right now, right?

There is beauty in Misery and Pain
Music..
The most primal and basic of communication and expression methods.

Song, Dance, Performance...

There is nothing more hauntingly beautiful than hearing someone sing your pain, feel your thoughts and echo your sentiments. My favourite artists are able to do this... Trent and Amy... their voices ooze emotion.

Hard Truths

Playing with Toys

Ever felt like a square peg in a round hole?

I do..
I spent a lot of my lifetime trying to work out how to fit into the round holes that everyone else seemed to fit through so easily....
But I couldn't.

Time and experience taught me that squares are different to circles, but beautiful in their own way. We have edges, perspectives, depth and angles that circle pegs can't begin to imagine.

Don't shave off your edges to fit into the circlepeg's hole...
That is just damaging yourself... marring yourself.. in order to achieve someone elses idea of perfection.

Instead, put some glitter and pretty bows on your sharp bits, show your edges off proudly..

You'll find that someone, somewhere, will realise that you're right. Edges and corners are cool...

And they'll alter the circular peg hole shape so that you can fit in better, or they'll dive in the square hole with you....
